Service:

A service is an intangible thing maintained and offered by a company to his customers. for example, we use internet, television, flight services, train service, electricity, gas. If we talk in the world of information technology we can relate with a website hosting company or a virtual computing company. After acquiring a service user has to pay the bill for the service according to company plan daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.

Factors affecting marketing products and services

In real life, services are facing more problems as compared to products. When a service is provided by a company then the company has a responsibility to maintain it. If we talk about internet service provider they have to provide reliable service to his customers, they have to face complaints in case of any failure, they have to collect bills and they have to interact with customers more frequently. Whereas products have safe room as compared to services after selling a product vendor have to take feedback from his customers and maintain the quality of the products. As we know products are supplied worldwide so vendor has to keep in view the demand of his customer very specifically in order to maintain the reputation.
